Newport Nights!

Well, I finally got a girls night out! I had to go to Batesville to finish up some wedding stuff, and met up with Jenny and Amanda. I made Amber ride up with me so I wouldn't get bored. We left Jenny's and headed for US Pizza in Newport! We had so much fun! Amanda was a trooper!

Jenny, me, and Amber before we went to pick up Amanda!

Amanda and I acting silly!

Amber and Jenny at US Pizza!
AManda, me, and Amber doing our model face. I am pretty sure it turned into a fish face look!!
Well, this is one of my favorites! I hope Amanda lets me keep it up!

Jillian's first day of P.R.E.P. School!!!

When I was talking to Jillian about me staing home for a while, I told her we would have so much fun together! Her response was that she thought she needed to go to school! I agreed to 2 days a week. She has been going since September 5th! She loves it! She is in a class of 8. There are 2 teachers. She goes to learning labs everyday. It is really neat! Jack, our next door neighbor, is in Jillian's class and they ride to school together! She thinks she is sooooo big and is learning so much! She looks so big in these pictures! I don't know where the time goes!

Jillian acting silly waiting for me to get ready!
Jillian was showing off her new Barbie Backpack and Ballerina Lunch Box.
Well, Jillian was excited about this picture, but Nelson was so excited! I think he misses Jillian when she is at school though!!
Jillian is riding the rocking horse while Jack stands beside her! They were ready for their first day of school!

Jillian is posing by the picture wall.
What a hard first day of school!
Bye-Bye school!! See you on Monday!!

Dad's visit to the house!

Jillian was so excited that her Papaw came to visit her! They had so much fun together! He had never been to Chuck E. Cheese's... so without much begging Jillian had him ready to go! They had a blast! I think Dad enjoyed the games more than Jillian.

Who could ask for more? Papaw, Chuck E. Cheese, and an airplane flying over!

We left with Ballons, tattoos, and a huge smile!!

Jillian and Papaw swimming in the rain!

Swimming in the rain... I'm swimming in the rain... what a wonderful feeling...

Kids at the Park!

This one is so old too! I am at my sister's house and I can actually upload pictures! I am taking full advantage! Jordan, Sydney, Jillian, and Jordan's friend, Sawyer, went to the park during the summer! They had a blast and I got some cute pictures!

Trying to get them to all pose while enjoying their popsicle was not going to happen!!

Sydney swinging away!

Jillian in the baby swing. For thinking she is sooo big, she still enjoys the baby swing!

Sawyer and Jordan playing a little Skeet Ball!

Sydney posing! Yeah!

Okay, so this one is a little out dated, but there were too many adorable pictures not to add this to the blog! Right before the reception we (April, her kids, Mom, Holly, and her kids) went to Magic Springs for the day! We had so much fun!

Jillian had so much fun on the water slide!

Jordan and Sydney ready to slide and not to pose!

This & That

I have decided... I am not going to add any pictures of the house on the blog. My reasoning is... if I gave you the prize you would never endure the journey! So, if you want to see the "Hickam Hotel" you must make a reservation!! I have some weekends already fully booked!
I keep trying to get everything done to take pictures, but you know me... It never looks finished enough to actually take pictures! I want it to be perfect, and I have realized that that will take a few more months!
Jillian will be starting PREP school on September 5th. (At least I hope! Here you must have your doctor sign off on the child. I am trying to get her Hot Springs doctor to do that!) I will definitely have my camera along for that!

Go HOGS!!!! We are getting soooooooooooie excited about those Razorbacks! Of course you know Andrew talks about them ALL the time! Well, Jillian has decided that she will wear her Razorback cheer leading outfit everyday until we take her to a game! It never fails that she will ask daily, "When are we going to the Razorbacks?", then proceeds to put on her cheer leading outfit! I could have kicked myself the other day! We have a Dairy Queen about 2 miles from our house. (Jillian calls it "Queens") We went to go get some ice cream, and Jillian HAD to wear her Razorback outfit! So, here we are in the middle of LSU and Longhorn country, and here walks in Jillian with her Razorback outfit! I knew we would have the whole place calling those hogs before we left! Well, that didn't happen! The closest thing we got was a few stares! Also, Andrew has informed me that we will be buying the SEC channels on Dish! I am so excited! I cannot bear to watch anymore Dallas Cowboys or Longhorns!! So I am adding the games we are trying to attend! Maybe we will see some of you there!!

October 6: Tennessee-Chattanooga in Little Rock (My birthday is the 5th!!)
October 13: Auburn in Fayetteville
November 3: South Carolina in Fayetteville
November 10: Possibly flying to Tennessee
November 17: Mississippi State in Little Rock
November 23: LSU at Baton Rouge (If we are doing good, I am going to this one!!)

I need some new Razorback outfits, but I don't think they are allowed to sell RED clothing in the whole state!!!!

Love ya, Julie

I know, I know!!

I know that you are all unhappy with me!! I get it!! But, right now I have too much work to do. We are down to about 25 boxes! Out of 397, I think we are doing good!! They are the last few you just want to mark garage sale and put in the garage! But then, you remember... there could be something in there I REALLY need! I will have to say... after having our stuff in storage for so long, it feels like Christmas in August! There are the things you are sooooooo glad to have, and the ones you think, great what am I going to do with this!! Andrew was in St. Louis last week, so I have been Mom, painter boss, unpacker, cook, cleaner, mower, and pool boy! (Okay, so I did sign up for all of that!!)
Lisa is working on the pictures from the reception. Our wedding pictures from Hawaii are up if you want to heck those out!

We are married!!

Well, the big day was Tuesday!! It was wonderful! I do not have any pictures from that. Too much was going on and I will get the ones the photographer took and post those!

This is a picture of us from the resort!

We got here on Friday, July 6th! Sunday we drove the road to Hana. It is gorgeous! It is about 60 miles one way! Although that sounds like a quick trip... it took us 12 hours to get there and back!!

This is a picture of a Rainbow Eucalyptus Tree! They are so beautiful!!

This is a cave at one of the black sand beaches! It is so beautiful!

There are waterfalls like this one all along the Road to Hana!

If you are adventurous, there is a one lane road past Hana. It takes you to Haleakala National Park at Kipahula. In order to get to the biggest falls, you have to take a 2 mile hike. This is a picture of a Bamboo Forrest. We had to walk through this to get to the falls!. It was very neat, but it gets really dark in places. I was ready to get into light at most times!!

The Pipiwai Trail has a 800 foot elevation change from the start to finish! It about killed us! This is Waimoku Falls. It is a 400 foot waterfall!

I know this is not that pretty, but it is one of my favorites! The road to Hana is so remote that if anything happens to your car... well... you just saw it!

Today, we went to the dormant Haleakala (Hal-e'-a-ka-la)volcano. It is around 10,000 feet high! That was a shorter trip! We did that in 3 hours!!

This is some plants regrowing after the volcano years ago!

I like this one too! It looks uneven, but it really isn't. While, I was just looking at the picture I thought I might have a little motion sickness!

I have the information on this flower, but we left it in the car!

Saturday we are flying over to Pearl Harbor on Oahu. It is a short flight! Andrew is really excited about that!

Nanna's House!!

The last time we went to Sandi's house, Jillian named her Nanna. Also, Jillian on her own, decided that the lake was her swimming lake and Sandi's pool was her swimming pool! So, needless to say when I told her we were going to Texas she automatically asked about Nanna! We drove over Saturday afternoon and spent the night. We had so much fun. We just sat around the pool and watched a few fireworks Saturday night! Rosco, Sandi's dog, loved the rocket we were playing with. He also thought that he should have a turn! He tried and tried to get it from Jillian. Jillian left her stoop and finally he got it! We will see them again in a few weeks!

Jillian swimming in her Texas Temporary Home!!

Jillian and I got to Texas yesterday! We are here to get a few things for the new house! We are staying at the Homewood Suites. They are so nice. The rooms have a kitchen, dining area, living area, bedroom, and seperate bath! It is like a mini apartment. They feed you a full breakfast and full dinner! It is wonderful! I have questioned the fact of even living in a house. At least here, you have a maid cleaning everything up! Today, we had a fun-filled day at the pool! Jillian loved every minute. Tomorrow we are heading to "Nanna's" house! (Jillian calls Sandi Nanna!) We are going to swim at her house for the weekend. Maybe even catch some fireworks!

Baby Hattie and Jillian

We stopped by Crystal and Damon's house on Sunday. We had to see baby Hattie! She is so adorable! She was eight days old and the sweetest thing! Jillian of course was the first to hold her! Jillian, the ham, was asking me to take pictures of her and Hattie! We are going to have to get some matching Razorback cheerleading outfits for the two of them! We also found out that Mary Ellen is pregnant! Hopefully she will have a girl! We might just have our own little Razorback squad!
