Jillian's first day of "Pre-K"!

Well, now days your 4 year old is obviously way smarter than I am now, so I was quickly informed... Last year was preschool and this year is "Pre-K"! There is a big, HUGE, difference in the two. So big in fact, that we cannot even mutter the words preschool unless we are talking about the past! And guess what else went out last year, bows! Who knew? So you will see her beautiful hair... bowless!!

Cruise to Mexico!

I am really behind! My niece turned 18, so we went on a cruise to Mexico! Needless to say we had lots of fun! Especially watch the new 18 year old act like she was 21!!

Saddle Up... we are on the move!

We just found out about two weeks ago that we are on the move to Shreveport, Louisiana. This wasn't an expected move. After we got over the huge shock factor, we immediately went into house hunting action. We have been looking and narrowed it down to a couple. None with a pool caught our eye. I am so sad, but a house with a pool is in our future... just not the so near future!

Isn't it funny... when you get married and get your first house together, you are so excited. You want everything to be perfect! Then when you move the second time, you just try to figure out what you don't have to pick up and carry with you this time!! It is amazing what can accumulate in one year! No, not 13 months, exactly one year!!

Did I ever mention that I hate garage sales... well, I do! But, we have to have one. I am going to put my happy face on and do the duty! This is going to be the mother of all garage sales! It is going to have furniture, baby gear, clothes, decor, and most of all... junk! Hope someone else thinks of it as treasure!

As far as moving, Jillian couldn't be any happier! When we were looking at the houses she made a comment that one living room was, "the most beautiful thing she had ever seen"!! (Note: It was the only one with one of those huge swing sets!)
Andrew would have already been somewhere if he could have. He thinks the drive to Shreveport has become longer since he found out he is there for good! I think I am the only one trying to hold on to my newly formed roots! But I am excited about the decorating part!!

Jillian is already in Pre-K there (we have to call it Pre-K, not preschool.) We also found a place for her to take gymnastics. She is on the road ready to fly! The big thing left is a house! So, please say some house prayers for us! (Make sure you specify, "house", not "hotel"! I really don't want to have to do that again!!) Good night! By the way, just be okay with the lack of blogging! It isn't going to change anytime soon!!

Happy Anniversary!

Today is our one year anniversary! Andrew sent me some beautiful flowers! I stayed with the traditional "Paper" gift and got him the new Willie Nelson book! He is going to love it!!

Well, I guess we will see how much we really love each other tomorrow... Andrew is having his wisdom teeth cut out! They said they are really bad! And he is over the magic age of 25, so it will be pretty bad! (Yes, a few years over!! I had to add that!) Well, I guess if it is too hard to handle, we can always say we made it at least a year!! hahaha just kidding...

Maybe I will take some pictures of the old gopher tomorrow!! He would kill me!

Fourth of July Weekend

We had so much fun on the Fourth of July! We went swimming until we couldn't swim anymore! We all did facials! We also went to the Boardwalk in Shreveport! Jillian got a build-a-bear she named Sweetie!
Jillian is now diving in the pool, swimming to the bottom, and can do flips into the pool! She is a little fish!

Trip to Florida

We had so much fun in Florida! I think Jillian was in heaven the whole time!! Here are a few, but I am going to set up a gallery for all of them!

Louisiana Downs

Mommy was photographing a wedding on Saturday so Andrew and Jillian had a big day! They headed over to Shreveport. First they went to build a bear to make Sally the bunny. She is a summer bunny! She is ready to head to the beach with us in a few weeks! Then, they headed to the race track so Jillian could she the horses. SHe has turned into a horse crazed four year old!! They stood by the paddock to see the horses. Andrew said it was the weirdest thing... The first race Jillian picked her favorite horse just by looking at them... he look at the race book and the horses name was Hella Bella... if any of you have been around Jillian much, she names everything Bella! Her horse at the house is even named Bella! The other horse she picked was Sarah's Secret which is he step-mom's name! Of course Andrew knew it was a sign, so he bet both and cashed in a winning ticket! While standing by the paddock, a trainer gave Jillian a pair of the goggles that the jockeys wear while riding! Needless to say, they both had a very exciting day!

Nelson!!

Well, I am getting ready to begin offering Limited Editions... My project for this summer is to have "The Dog Days of Summer"! Hopefully I will get the local vets and businesses to help out. I plan to require everyone to bring a bag of dog food to donate to the local shelters. Anyway, enough of that! We had to drag Nelson by his ears to the studio (he is a lot like his dad!!) These have not been touched since they left the camera! (My Mac version of Photoshop hasn't made it here yet!) Hope you enjoy! Julie

Andrew's Birthday!

Well our Andrew is getting older! Jillian loves to call him Andy, so... that is what we put on the ice cream cake! We all had lunch at Jason's deli and dinner at Cheddars! I know he had a wonderful birthday!

Jillian and the Backyard Horses!

The back of our backyard butts up against a field. There are horses and cows that come up to our fence all the time! Jillian has named all the horses! They love it when she goes out there with food! We let her sit on top of one the other day! She was in heaven!

Fagan's wedding

I am so far behind on everything! I am just going to enter events as I get to them... not necessarily in order!
We had a great time in Jackson, Mississippi! It is so refreshing to see your friends! We are so excited for Amy and Bryan. We wish them all the happiness in the world!

Western Days... I am so behind!

Jillian had her Western Days program at school. Sorry the video is so bad. Andrew was not there, and I was trying to get video and stills! Hope you all enjoy!! The pictures were taken with the video camera, so they are not that great!!

Jillian's first swim of 2008!

Jillian decided the other day that she was ready to swim! It was a nice warm day, and the pool water is getting warmer! I actually got in all the to my knees! That is huge for me! I was hardly past that in July of last year!! She had so much fun, and getting better about being confident in the pool! I cannot wait until summer!!
